Overview

We have set 3 levels of coaching that we will talk over first and select to meet all your needs. Each level has a different investment with coach feedback and detail to match the level.

You don't have to want to be the next Olympic champion; you just have to want to be supported by a sensible, practical and realistic coach.

We believe that every athlete is different and therefore needs a program geared specifically to their personal ability and potential, taking into account any weaknesses, time available and circumstances. We do not believe in the "squad training mentality," where everyone does the same training.

We also believe that clocking up huge kilometers alone will not make a good athlete. Distance is important, but you have to make sure that you also prepare specifically for your event, particularly in the 8 weeks before an event.

Training age and history are very important. There is no point copying the training that others are doing, especially if you do not have the same background or even the same goals. Athletes often know what does and doesn't work for them from their past training. This can be very helpful in getting the program right early on.

Many coaches do not take the time to look at the "big picture." Training history, future goals, lifestyle factors and daily timetables can all influence training. We like to do the best we can with each individual that we work with - plain and simple.
